www.smart.com
Visit this website.. this is a car that i am going to be doing an ad-campaign on. Under what circumstances would you prefer to choose this car over the others in the market? As in.. whats important for you as an individual when you go out there and buy a car.
Actually, I would be grateful if you also can tell me, would you prefer a 'smart-car-for-two' or a 'smart-car-for-four'. (just ur opinion as a potential buyer).
Backdrop of this mission: I have a group of ppl, with whom I have set up an ad agency. We will be making an ad campaign for Smart car and try our best to renew its image in the minds of the locals. Now, since I am not a car-person.. I was hoping some of you can give me something to build upon. I just don't share that passion for cars as most men do..(i mean all)
PS: I accept any level of criticism about this car. You can even disregard it as not even being a 'car'.

I have never driven a SMART car... I think the good qualities are parking wise and great mileage/less pollution... Without having driven a SMART car, I can see the major problem to be space... You need another car for getting/leaving ppl in airports, etc... I might be wrong..

I am glad you have never driven a Smart-Car yet.:P
You're right..that space seems to be a problem, Certainly for families because they are going to need a spacious car for their kids. This is where the smart=car=meant for four is having a disadvantage.
So, what do you think about a Smart-Car meant for Two-People??
@divster: If you go into the 2 seater market, your competitors are going to be sports cars and bikes. In both cases, if I am not wrong, it is the men who are the major consumers and if I am not wrong, power and speed is the name of the game in the sports car market... What do you think about the power of a SMART car? For a couple, I guess reliability becomes an issue... The SMART car for two - reliability is where you might want to score... BTW, am confused. Didnt get why u were glad that I had never driven a SMART car....

Because it ain't that smart after all..:P He he he.
Man, u r quick...
Question for you since I have been thinking about it:
How often do you have to sell a product you dont believe in yourself?
as often as all-the-time sometimes.
U got to cultivate the interest. That's wat matterz.
Thats gotta be difficult....
hey divs heard from ur mom abt this proj of yours
1. As libran said parking the best thing. And may be ppl not into family way can use this
2. It can be an additional car in a family but not the main purpose of transport.
3. Sorry to say i always tease these kinda cars as Half a car.
4. It depends ont he cost, milege and the features its has can make a large difference in this marketing
Good Luck to you buddy
:)
psst psst ...

Ooh, those pointers were clever ones.It is precisely what I was thinking of. Thanks for the structured reply. :)
Psst..I could make out that the guys while talkin about the car were a bit more emotional.. than the girls :P
Hey, since I am the only guy who talked about it here, I take offense to that...
[Libran]
