Marketing exists everywhere!

I sat down meekly in my marketing class ready for another row of discussions on different strategies of marketing. Only to find our teacher ( a young 25 yr old lady) distributing this handout... (The whole class was filled with giggles and gasps from the girls and very serious-thinking looks from the guys still burried in the paper trying to read it again and again..wont blame them.. they probably wud not hav gone past the sexy girl part.. LOL)

You go to a party and you see a sexy girl across the room.
You go up to her and say
"Hi, I'm great in bed, how about it?"
That's direct marketing.

You go to a party and you see a sexy girl across the room.
You give your friend a tenner. He goes up and says
"Hi, my friend over there is great in bed, how about it?"
That's advertising.

You go to a party and you see a sexy girl across the room.
You give your friend a tenner.
He goes up to a group of gossips, and says
"Hi, see my friend over there, he's great in bed"
That's P.R. (Public Relations)

You go to a party, you see a sexy girl across the room.
She comes over and says,
"Hi, I hear you're great in bed, how about it?"
Now, that's the power of branding!

p.s. Please substitute "girl" for "boy" where and if applicable. ( hope u know who u are.. if u r not sure.. then u know that marketing is not ur subject! )

LoL!

The IIT brand has people think we're super-intelligent, weird, nerdy, dope-addicted, rock-music lovers and born geniuses. Wonder if there's a way to make people think we're "great in bed" as well ;)

There's a way.. but then its hard to bring down the nerds to the casanova level..:p

heh..the teacher sure know how to get the student's attention!!
i remember once...i had to give a talk about india to foreign students..towards the end of the lecture we started out about the kama sutra and everyone was super attentive...to say the least!..we should have started out with something like that..
